Hong Kong’s 8FIVE2 turns ten this year and to celebrate the occasion they put together a collaboration with Vans to create the 8FIVE2 10th Anniversary x Vans Chukka Low. The kicks are a cool all black full grain leather, with leather black laces and a smooth white outsole. The drop also comes with a really neat floral patterned pouch.
Vans releases this pair Vans 106’s in a cream/white color combination. The sneaker uses canvas and applies a vulcanized sole since the shoe is originally a skate shoe. In this case however, these would be fitting for almost any casual situation.

Hip shoe maker Keds, the first to refer to rubber soled shoes as sneakers, teams up with US retailer Jeffery on a holiday edition of their popular low cut design. The Jeffery x Keds sneakers use velvet instead of the usual canvas used on this model, and come in four color-ways including green, blue, black and red. These release mid December just in time for the holiday season.

It’s the holiday season again and Stampd’LA is gearing up to release its Holiday 2009 collection which features three different shoes, the Black Slow, the Grey Jam, and the Featherd. All come in a combination of materials per shoe, an established practice at Stampd, including leather, suede and canvas. The collection comes in restricted quantities and can be found at the online Stampd’LA store.
Japanese label Lot. has recently released a glimpse of their fall/winter 2009 collection including the Lot. Straight Tip Oxfords. The shoe, done in suede, comes in two colors, black and brown, with a red interior, both containing a white outsole and light brown leather toe box. The final result is a casual shoe not overdone and fitting for numerous occasions and styles while at the same time consisting of a more complete and cultured look.
