Continuing with their storied series of collaborative efforts are Stussy Deluxe and Converse, presenting two iterations of the CX-Pro OX sneaker silhouette for Spring 2013. The design remains relatively faithful to the original CX-Pro OX model, with the exceptions being the colorways – navy canvas and olive camouflage – as well as the limited edition Stussy Deluxe branding on the tongue, insole and outer heel. Expect these to hit Stussy Chapter stores worldwide starting May 3rd, 2013.
Luxury design house Givenchy has made some serious headway with their offerings of decidedly luxurious sneakers favored by rappers and the wealthy alike. For this Velro-strap mid-top sneaker, Givenchy’s signature star branding is forgone in favor of a more subdued embossed logo. Since it’s debut as the “Wimbledon” model in the mid 70′s, the renamed “Tennis Classic” has graced courts around the world, and now thanks to Supreme has a fresh redesign ready for the streets of your city. Coming in four seasonally-appropriate colorways, this premium leather edition features a molded snakeskin pattern on select panels and custom branding to commemorate two titans of the fashion world working together. The Supreme x Nike SB Tennis Classics are expected to be priced at $110 USD and hit online shops April 25th, 2013.

To commemorate this year’s running of the Boston Marathon, New Balance has teamed up with Boston-based shop Concepts to create this fantastic ‘Northern Lights’ editions of their classic US574 silhouette. Featuring blue, green, and burgundy editions of the American-made 574 sneaker, the pack seems fairly standard at first look, but when plunged into darkness features glow-in-the-dark branding and details. The collaborative “Northern Lights” pack will be available exclusively from Concepts shop on Saturday, April 13.

With the popularity in technical running footwear ever increasing, adidas delves into a day in the life of Mr.Omori for the first of the films in their “Adivisionaries” series. The master craftsman began working for adidas in 1999 bringing his techniques of hand cutting shoe patterns which helped create innovative shoes such as the adizero family. Mr.Omori’s dedication to his work attracted attention from all over the world, helping create shoes for legendary athletes for over 50 years. This intimate glimpse into his life documents his unique approach to his work and how in today’s mass production world, traditional hand crafted techniques still have an integral place.
Sneaker designer Alejandro Ingelmo has teamed up with street artist Kenny Scharf to release some limited edition pairs of ‘Josh’ collaborative sneakers. The shoes release commemorates Scharf’s latest exhibition, ‘Kolors’ at the Paul Kasmin Gallery in NYC.
