Flashiness has always been a key element to the designs of Jeremy Scott, but his soon to be released Spring/Summer 2012 collaboration collection with Adidas shows us that flashy is an understatement. Inspired by American culture, Scott interestingly pays homage to such iconic U.S. symbols as the American flag, the old west, as well as the rock n’ roll superstar. All of these themes are blended uniquely to fit classic Adidas design, but the collection’s inherent extravagancy begs the question, did Scott overlook Adidas traditional functionality? Regardless, Scott uses unique detailing and pop culture influenced themes to construct each of the 19 footwear creations available within his new collection. So, if you are a cowboy looking for a comfortable jogging sneaker, or a sucker for leopard print, mark your calendar because Scott’s line is set to drop this February and March in Adidas Original stores world wide.
