The North Face is heading “Back to Berkeley” with these hiking boots for the label’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection. A reference to the brand’s inception in Berkeley, California in 1966, these unique hikers blend the label’s high-tech know-how with some pretty awesome fashion appeal. The Back to Berkeley is constructed from a thick canvas upper and features suede leather trim and contrasting rope-style hiker laces, with the outers HydroSeal waterproofed and insulated with 100 grams of Primaloft synthetic insulation. While the boot isn’t expected to land until October, you can still get your pre-order in here at oki-ni.
