adidas Originals recently hosted a launch party for their spring / summer 2011 collection, at Paris’s Point Ephémère, and this video shows all the magic. On display were the clothes, the lifestyle, the designers, the press, and of course, plenty of sneakers.
Building on the popular ‘Switchback’ silhouette released this past year, Vans has given a sneak peak at two new colorways that will be available in the new year as part of their Spring collection. The shoes feautre an all-leather or nubuck construction that will be available in a blackout, or black with brown accent colorway. Look for these to his select Vans retailers Jan. 1st.
Converse teams up with Aloha Rag to craft these wild JP Zip sneakers. The inspiration for this sneaker is said to be New York City, and it’s eclectic, cosmopolitan style. To that end, a variety of styles and materials come together for this sneaker. Patent leather mids, buffalo leather details, rubber soles, brass zippers. Dickies expands its horizons yet again, crafting the Transporter Low, a fresh looking pair of casual shoes for spring / summer 2011. A pair of fine understated canvas and suede shoes, they’ll be available at select Dickies stockists in a variety of colors when delivery comes.
Deluxe has decided to take on a classic, with some brilliant results, re imagining the Vans Chukka as a rich leather piece. The shape and design is familiar, retaining the silhouette and Vans branding, but the material is black leather with a croc skin finish, and white toe cap. A fun design, with November 3rd release date confirmed.
