When you sit down at a meeting and cross your legs you’ll get more compliments when everyone realizes you have boots on. That’s how it works. The shoes don’t stand out because they have an outrageous zipper or some odd design on the ankle.
Be careful to choose Dress Boots that look very similar to dress shoes you like so that you don’t end up making yourself look silly.
Wear your dress boots with everything you would wear your dress shoes with. Wear them with a suit or slacks and dress shirt. Then, leave the office and go to dinner. Wear them with your favorite denim or khakis and hit the town. Whatever you do, treat them as shoes…not hunky boots.
How to Care for Dress Boots
Caring for dress boots is a simple endeavor. The top calf of your dress boots will reach all the way up the ankle and that means that all of that leather needs to be polished.
Also, you will need a boot tree to keep the shape of the ankle of your boots because if you don’t the ankle will droop and crease like crazy.
All in all, enjoy your boots, but make sure you don’t abuse them by wearing them the wrong way or in the wrong spirit. This should keep you looking good, and feeling good too.

In hopes of eliciting a response, has anyone pinpointed what the boots at the very top are? I checked Stacy Adams and couldn’t find any like that their. I’ve sent in a question to the guys that run the site but have not yet received a response and thought I’d give this a shot.

Those shoes are made by Alden. Like them? Me too, they cost about one thousand dollars.
Check out nordstrom if you are looking for great shoes that will last, zappos is another great (possibly lower end with higher end too) online store to look at.
I tried some Stacy adams and they came defected both times, I now just invested in some Hugo Boss “Lexis” boots from nordstrom and just got them, so I am not sure yet how they are but they look great!
