Shoe Size Conversion Chart

Posted by theshoebuff, November 8th, 2009

When ordering shoes online, it is important to ensure that your shoe size is translated properly. The following shoe conversion chart allows you to convert your shoe size between different countries.

Please note

  • This is not a definitive guide, it is only our best guess.
  • Store and manufacturer practice widely varies.
  • The best practice is to measure your foot in inches, centimeters, or millimeters and request the same measurement from the retailer.
  • Measure to your longest toe (not nescessarily your big toe).

This chart is really really off….and I’m sure so whoever put this up on a shoe based forum should probably redo it….

i make shoes for a living and there are real yet slight differences between each country’s size chart but this is off. the scales just don’t convert in the logical way that you have laid it out. you are correct the best way is to measure in centimeters/millimeters but sadly the retailers have no clue.
if you check the website for brannock devices they have a better size chart that is more accurate.
