In what is possibly the coolest collaboration we’ve seen in a while, is this unreal snowboard boot from Burton and Red Wing. With both companies steeped in their respective traditions, the historic meeting of the two has produced an incredible and extremely unique piece of equipment.
Red Wing uses their iconic tall work boot silhouette as the basis for the upper, while Burton ratchets up the hidden performance by including their latest, in high tech functionality. Short of some nylon mesh at the top of the liner, the “Rover” is made from genuine leather, with traditional Red Wing stitching, laces and sole.
As fashion becomes more and more apparent on the slopes, these incredible boots will be an answer for many riders this year, I’m sure.
