Clemens en August and British artist Liam Gillick have collaborated to produce a seriously interesting dress shoe. At first glance they might appear to be a clean, highly polished, yet uninteresting black dress shoe. However, take a better look at the toes and you’ll find a unique type of aeration going on. These classic dress shoes have a seriously modern kick to them, with a unique pattern of punched holes in the toe piece these add a good amount of wow-factor without being in your face about it.
The combination of art and fashion is never cheap, and unfortunately Clemens en August and Liam Gillick’s work is no exception. The shoes, made to size, or in standard sizes, begin at £500.
