Yesterday, Converse announced the launch of its First String Standards Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ‘Made in Maine’ boot for the Holiday 2012 season. A limited-edition boot that plays off the heritage of Converse and American manufacturing, the boot is being made in partnership with the Highland Shoe Company in New England.
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Made in Maine Collection launches November 30th, 2012 at Converse boutiques in New York City and Boston, and select First String retailers globally. Sadly, only 80 pairs will be available and the boots will retail for $350 USD, which means they’ll probably be snapped up before all but the luckiest individuals have time to even glimpse them in person.
