Lacoste is making waves this season, with the release of some footwear outside of their normal offerings. Past seasons have seen a fair share of ultra casual designs intended for the moneyed loafer set.
With the release of these classic walkers and the hiking boots we saw last week, Lacoste is clearly attempting to get in line with the heritage theme of most streetwear designs right now. Although a true heritage label, Lacoste somewhat lost their way, over the past few years, by making misguided and at times, boring shoes.
It seems with these today, they are back on track. A genuine leather upper sits atop a simple low pro, foam sole. With three raw lace holes, they can even be a bit dressy. Available this fall in red leather or a sandy suede.
