Mohawk General Store has dropped us a line to let us know about a fine line of exclusives available exclusively from the retailer now. The Miner’s Boot in brown pebbled leather, lace-up army boot, and desert boot in grey suede are all based on designs from Mohawk cofounder Kevin Carney’s work for The Generic Man, but each of these variants is special and unique.
The Miner’s boot is based on a vintage piece from the 1960s, and will be part of the Generic Man 2011 spring collection, but is available through Mohawk now. The lace-up army boot features a grey wool liner, giving it a unique versatility and comfort. The desert boot is made by the same factory that produced Clarks before production was moved to Asia in the 1990s. The shoes are available here, here, and here, and each is limited to just 10 pieces.
