This preivew of NDC‘s spring / summer 2011 shows a distinct vintage flavor to the first offerings for 2011 from this footwear brand. The silhouettes are what we should expect – good, solid red welted brick soles, and classic uppers. However, the worn out suede, and creased feel given off by these empty shoes creates a vibe that recollects empty gym locker rooms in the Mid-Century Midwest, and that sort of vintage Americana feel. Very subtle, but very welcome just the same.
