Made specially for the Tom Sachs ‘Space Program: Mars’ exhibition currently going on at the Armory in NYC, they are part of the official uniform for the “crew” working the “mission”. Overall the shoe is somewhat reminiscent of golfing footwear, with a waffled sole, perforated leather upper, & subtle Nike swoosh. Still, if any of these hit the market they’re sure to start a bidding war among collectors.
