It seems as though variations on Nike’s Air Jordan, will be a company touchstone for many years yet. An absolutely iconic shoe, the Air Jordan has seen many style tweaks since it’s inception, and this 2.0 release will be no different. Capitalizing on the already popular silhouette of recent “Jordan” issues, The 2.0 version looks similar to its predecessors but with a few new elements. The Air max sole visibly extends through the length of the shoe and in bright red is a stand out marker. However, Nike does it’s best to maintain the Air Jordan tradition of simplicity and does not over embellish these latest offerings. The Nike Air Jordan 2.0 will be available in several colourways in July 2011.
