Another entry from visvim‘s spring / summer 2010 lineup, is this Gabo Lo Kudo sneaker. Featuring a classic All-Star low-top silhouette, the uppers are made from Kudu, a soft leather made from antelope that shares its name, while the heel is detailed with a mocassin like tassel. Available from visvim stockists starting June 10th.
Seeing release this week is visvim‘s Beard Boots-Folk, a rough living outdoorsman’s boot from visvim’s spring / summer 2010 collection. Equipped with a cork footbed for comfort, and linerless upper for wearability in the summer, the Beard Boots-Folk will come in three different colorways.

Dior Homme releases their line up of sneakers for their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection, and it’s an exciting mix of revamped styles, and new ideas. Kris Van Assche does well to meld characteristics of heavy outdoor footwear with classic sneaker designs. An earthy pallette does well for the season, and a good play of texture, and material makes this sneaker collection another slam dunk from Kris Van Assche’s dramatic and refined sensibilities.
It’s time for a closer look at the boot collection that rehacer and Dr. Martens have put together for fall / winter 2010. The boot construction is a classic Doc shape, punched up with some rich colored leather, including shades of black, blue and deep red.
But the coolest element here is probably the liner that folds back to wrap the outside heel. Each one is wool, and features decorations reminiscent of the Pendleton for Opening Ceremony clothing collection.
It’s an Asian collaboration, as Chinese designer Kim Kiroic designs a collection of convertable shoes for Korean designer JUUN.J‘s fall / winter 2010 collection. The theme? The transforming warrior. Starting as high-top sneakers, Kiroic’s designs unzip and switch to sandals in an instant, giving men’s footwear some true statement pieces for the season.
Vans has released a California inspired line for Fall/Winter 2010 that include these Authentic One Pieces. Available in three colourways, the design is simple with an authentic ‘Lords of Dogtown’ vibe to the muted palette, and athletic simplicity. Also available from the California Fall/Winter 2010 vault are an updated set of nubuck Old Skools, and Eras featured in perforated leather. So crank the Duane Eddy and hit the surf in these killer new kicks, all available online from Proper.
