Clarks for Hanon Desert Boots

Clarks for Hanon Desert Boots 01 Clarks for Hanon Desert Boots

Clarks and Hanon team up for this unlikely pair of desert boots. While the cut and shape of the uppers are pretty conventional, the streetwear savvy boys at Hannon have given these boots a neon-blue liner and laces, to offset a luxurious patterned uppers. A great combination of street style, and runway savvy.

Clarks Oberon

Clarks Oberon Original1 Clarks Oberon

The Clarks Oberon is one of the few Clarks shoes that only comes in one colour: tan. It was first introduced in 1975 and combines the classic Clarks durability with textured tan leather. This shoe looks great in warm weather environments with a casual pair of shorts or cuffed jeans; perfect for a simple day out to run errands or have lunch with friends. Although it carries great versatility, the Oberon is not intended for day-to-day wear. The versatility in this pair of shoes is that it does not necessarily have to be worn with one look, there are many variants of styles that it can go well with. Available now at select Clarks retailers and online.

Clarks Ashcotts

A more subdued silhouette from Clarks is the Ashcott, available in shoe and boot form. Made using the same quality and traditions as Clarks dress shoes, the Ashcott is a more downmarket, more casual variant for day to day wear. Available as a low-cut shoe or mid-length boot, pair them with rolled cuffs on jeans for a casual look this season!

Hobo and Clarks release images of their new collaborative effort the hobo x Clarks Spring/Summer 2010 Desert Boot. The result is a detailed Desert boot with all sorts of new features. The first thing that pops up at me is the use of studs which is a quickly growing fad i began to recognize just before the end of last year. These come in two colors and should be available soon.

Clark’s x Barbour Fabrics Wallabee

clarksbarbour1 Clarks x Barbour Fabrics Wallabee

Perhaps dreamed into existence by noted Wallabee enthusiast Ghostface Killah, this collaboration between Clark’s and Barbour is just a sample, not intended for production. It’s a shame, too – the cracked, burgundy leather piping and heel appliqué are awfully fresh, and the classic Wallabee shape paired with the gritty durability of Barbour’s fabrics would make any collaboration a must-own. Here’s hoping this sample is a sign of things to come – keep your ears to the ground for news of a production run.
