A somewhat unlikely collaboration, purveyors of casual California cool Vans will team up with Italian label Diemme on a pair of shoes in the coming season. Whereas previous collaborations focused on Diemme’s design aesthetics, this offering is most certainly Vans-oriented. Featuring two silhouettes: the Sk-8 Hi and Slip-On, the collection is redone entirely in the finest Italian leathers. Available in early 2013.
Italian shoemaker Diemme has collaborated with Stone Island on this fantastic boot for Fall/Winter 2012. Available in either the brown or blue colorways pictured, each iconic boot features a premium suede upper, Vibram sole and Stone Island logo patch on the tongue and heel. Bold and rainbow-esque colors can be a hit or a miss when it’s all mashed together, and in the case of Slam Jam and Diemme‘s Movida Basket shoe, it’s definitely a hit. The footwear is a part of a SS 2012 Collection, so the bright look is a nice reflection of the warmer season. Diemme has released a dashing pair of boots for this upcoming Holiday 2011 release. The Firenze Temola Tomahawk carries a blazing orange tinted leather while branding has been notched alongside and on the tongue.
