Generic Surplus rings in a new month of a new year with the release of the spring 2011 edition of their Borstal sneaker. A canvas sneaker great for those days in the sun, the Borstal features contrast piping, which adds some flavor to the shoe. H? Katsukawa from Tokyo has a mighty strange name, and has a spring 2011 footwear collection to match. Good strange, though, not bad strange though, as this collection takes classic men’s shoes and turns them on their head with unique patterns, and absurd fabrics that look like they were jacked from the Bape factory floor (again – in a good way). We definitely would not mind getting a closer look at the brown leather oxfords with star imprints.
