Clae‘s spring / summer 2011 collection gets previewed at Bread & Butter Berlin, and it looks good. New pieces dominate the showcase, with a beautiful pair of blue suede oxfords stealing the show, alongside some athletic shoes and a wide variety of athletic, casual, and more formal pieces.
Kris Van Assche‘s spring / summer 2011 collection features more of the monochromatic minimalism that the man has become known for, with a special focus on footwear influenced by the man’s day job at Dior Homme. Unique sandal cuts are the highlight of the collection, while lace-wrapped sneakers ripped straight from the Dior Homme 2010 fall collection make a reappearance. Not that we’re complaining – they’re amazing. An impressive offering of new classics from KVA.
Mark McNairy New Amsterdam previews its spring / summer 2011 collection, a colorful assortment of shoes that offset their bright colors with McNairy’s classic silhouettes and cuts. The shoes themselves are the usual quality pieces by the brand, but punched up with a kaleidoscope of bright colors and contrast details.
Alden gets the preview treatment with this look at its forthcoming spring / summer 2011 collection. Traditionalism dominates here, with polished leather brogues and boots, soft suede desert boots, and the quality craftsmanship that makes Alden a name to know.
Many designers and companies are releasing 2011 Spring/Summer Previews at this time, Tom Ford is the latest to release the preview of his shoe line. Although there are not many pictures that surfaced online, Tom Ford’s line is available to be seen in the latest issue of GQ. The line is very moccasin-based, as that is what he projects to be in style for next year. Stay tuned for more information being released later on.
