A gorgeous event at the Gladstone Hotel on Queen Street West, Converse showcased all their current collaborations, including the DC comics line, the John Varvatos collaborations, the new mainline Chucks, and the wide new selection of Jack Purcells.

If the devil truly is in the details, English shoemaker Barker Black is making their candidacy for Lord of the Underworld known with this preview of their Spring/Summer 2011 collection. With three distinct styles – a leather high-top, silk or linen embroidered slipper, and suede moccasin – set for release in March of this year, the storied English brand has taken over a century of experience in making the highest quality shoes and applied the knowledge, technique, and materials to the more casual fare we see here.

Folk Clothing gives us a very deep look into its men’s Folk Spring/Summer 2010 footwear. The very comprehensive collection includes a number of both casual and formal shoes, including desert boots, chukka’s, oxford’s and a host of other designs. The stand out feature of the collection seems to be the high grade materials used, from colorful suede’s and leathers to simple canvas’s, available are also designs containing mixture of materials.
