We honestly don’t know how the crew at visvim stay so busy, but we’re glad, as they release this Beard Boots Kudu-Folk on us. A wedge-heeled kudu suede boot, it’s a great looking rugged boot that would make a spectacular pair of walking boots for short summer hikes.

From its spring / summer 2010 collection comes this Patrician Plain Toe-Folk from Visvim. The uppers are suede and styled as a classic dress shoe, yet the sole shows off its roughshod walking shoe roots. Welted brick Vibram soles give this shoe more in common with Timberlands, making them comfortable and wearable for those long walks. Available in black, white, and sand.
The classic, comfortable sneaker is sort of a limited market dominated by Converse, but Visvim makes a great entry with the Kiefer J.O, a suede take on the classic All-Star silhouette. Available in black or tan colorways, but the tan suede gives the shoe a sort of casual smart vibe. Wonderful stuff from this Japanese brand.
As part of Visvim’s spring/summer collection for this year, they’ve released a fittingly titled moccasin: the ‘Maliseet Shaman-Folk’. Coming in a wide variety of colorways, Visvim’s new lowtop shoe is comprised of an entirely suede upper a fringed cuff and some detailing on the toe. What sets Visvim’s offering apart is that it begins from a well constructed dress shoe and incorporates some Native-American styling, rather than taking a traditional moccasin and adding poor ingredients. Visvim gives us a look at a new version of their classic 7-hole boot, the ’73 Folk’. Coming in a wide range of new colorways, Visvim links up some well worn leather with colored nylon uppers which gives these boots a fresh spring look ideal for puddle jumping; a perfect way to brighten up the rainy days. The ’73 Folk’ seven hole boot is now available from Visvim’s Website
Visvim’s SKAGWAY has released another shoe for this season. Featured in subtle colorways, much like the recent SKAGWAY HI drop, the Denim Lo are accented with a hint of denim on the uppers and have a worn-in look to them for a great, casual appearance. Look for these via select Visvim retailers, including NOTE.
A new version of the SKAGWAY DENIM HI will soon be released. This version features a white canvas upper with highlights of gray over the laces. The high-top will be available with the other three models this Friday at select visvim dealers.
visvim will be releasing their new LAUDA Driver-Folk on April 7th. FIL stores will be carrying the ankle high sneaker that comes in premium leather with leather toe cap and vegetable leather heel enforcement.
visvim adds another shoe to its growing spring / summer 2010 collection with the JC DRIVER-FOLK. Somewhere between a shoe and a desert boot, this lace-up is rendered in subdued blue with a contrast heel. The JC DRIVER-FOLK hits visvim retailers on February 25th, 2010.
