Dior Homme releases their line up of sneakers for their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection, and it’s an exciting mix of revamped styles, and new ideas. Kris Van Assche does well to meld characteristics of heavy outdoor footwear with classic sneaker designs. An earthy pallette does well for the season, and a good play of texture, and material makes this sneaker collection another slam dunk from Kris Van Assche’s dramatic and refined sensibilities.
We’ve got a quick preview at the first Christian Louboutins from the upcoming fall / winter 2010 collection. Featuring wild black-and-white zebra stripe on both, we’ve got one pair of studded slip-ons as well as a pair of desert boots with rich red contrast uppers. No word on when we’ll see them in stores yet.
Here we get a great look at Givenchy’s upcoming fall-winter line. The variety of models is more than enough to get you through the seasons, with high-tops, low-tops, and even a Red Wing-esque boot. The line is focused on the darker side of the spectrum with most models sporting a gray and black color scheme as well as thick set soles and strong black bands thrown in around the upper sections. Just looking through this collection has us planning for post labor day fashion already.
The Y-3 Fall/Winter 2010 Honja Studs Pack are a line worth getting excited about. The upcoming Honja High and Honja Low’s are both premium black leather with the perfect amount of stud work in all the right places, adding to the style of the shoe without descending it into novelty. You can look forward to slipping a pair of these on your feet later this year.
Giuliano Fujiwara goes all avant-garde on us with these sneakers for the fall / winter 2010 season. Wow doesn’t even begin to describe these silhouettes. All we can say is that if you love shoes, you’ll love these. They’re sleek, they’re futuristic, they’re flashy as all hell, and they’re some of the most exciting kicks we’ve seen in days.
Rag & Bone has you covered for formal footwear for the fall / winter season of 2010. Little birds tell us that the soft crepe sole are the big draw here, but we’re attracted to the earthy colors, high quality craftsmanship, and fine stitching and punch-hole decoration. There are four styles here for you to consider, with boots and even penny loafers ready for your review.
Raf Simons showcases with upcoming Fall Winter 2010 collection. With a variety of styles and color choices, the collection provides modern takes on the sneaker silhouette in both hi’s and low’s. Premium leathers, corduroys, and other textures appear throughout the collection, which goes heavy on straps over laces.
Creative Recreation lets us sneak a peek at their new Fall/Winter 2010 collection, and the progression is beautiful. In the past, we’ve been used to seeing the same silhouettes such as the Cesario or the Dicoco, but this year they’ve created some great new silhouettes; that look like they’ve been inspired by some sneakers of the past. The Solano is their newest piece, and includes zipper on the upper, that you can zip or un-zip for your preference. The Dicoco’s got a revamping with new colorways and textures. This year (quote me on this) Creative Recreation will have one of the biggest years in urban footwear; especially thanks to their “The Collection” line. You can check out more right here.
Bread & Butter has been doing a large amount of collaborations/partnerships with clothing and footwear companies lately; and this one with Volta is the newest one. Volta premiered their low top version of this boot at Bread & Butter when Volta first came out; and in my opinion, these boots are much nicer. Full of suedes and premium leathers, the boots come in colors of browns, beiges, blues, and grays, and the boot has a thick ribbed ankle. Enjoy.
