Original archive report

Slated to be released this coming May, the newest versions of the Nike Blazer ND take this classic silhouette and casts it in two great color combination’s. Both share a clean white sole; one building upon this with a turbo-green upper and navy laces, the other, pink with gray. The latter are actually a woman’s pair, but as any sartorialist worth his salt knows, good style knows no gender.
Buying an older Blazer: check the exact version
This April 2010 report covers two specific Blazer ND colourways, not every shoe carrying the Blazer name. The original report identifies the pink-and-grey version as a women’s release. A shared silhouette does not mean the size label, last or materials are interchangeable.
- Ask for photographs of the size label, style code, outsole and both sides of the actual pair. Compare those details with the archive image rather than relying on a listing title.
- Check the forefoot width with your usual socks. A longer size is not automatically a solution to pressure across the toes.
- For an older or unworn pair, look for separation at the sole edge, hardened rubber and deterioration around the lining. Age and storage matter as well as visible wear.
Cleaning without unnecessary risk
Identify the upper material before applying cleaner. Nike advises against machine washing sneakers and recommends gentle cleaning followed by air drying. Test a small hidden area first, especially where colour or suede could be affected.
