
John Varvatos is showing off a clean cut oxford shoe, though it maintains a simple demeanor overall, it’s got a few unique design elements to set it apart. Firstly, the worn brown leather which throws around another dimension to something that would be otherwise uninteresting. But most importantly is the simple decision to use a six-eye lace up, with sneaker inspired laces. It’s not extravagant, but it gives a bold finish to a well rounded shoe.
