Tod’s does its own take on the buckled loafer, with the Morsetto Formale, a handsome option in a rich medium colored brown. Craftsmen in Italy put together soft brown leather onto a rubber sole, into a apron toe design, and add a small metal buckle. The result is a fine bit of casual luxury. Available online.
