Quoddy has been hand sewing shoes in Maine since 1909. Founded by Harry Smith Shorey, the tradition of quality New England craftsmanship continues into the 21st Century. While their output is undoubtedly smaller compared to larger brands, the fact that each pair is hand sewn by a single individual is a testament to the skill of the small but dedicated team at Quoddy.
